Dr Jamie Capal

Dr. Jamie Capal is a neurodevelopmental neurologist. She received her training in Pediatrics, Neurology with special qualification in child neurology, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center. She stayed on as faculty there until the spring of 2020 where she was a member of the multidisciplinary Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic Center of Excellence.

Dr. Capal is currently an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she has a joint appointment in neurology and the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. Her clinical and research interests focus on children with neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic conditions.  She also directs the TSC Clinic and has a separate TAND Clinic.
