DCAP presentation

The annual DCAP (Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) research mini-symposium was held virtually this year on 27 November. The DCAP mini-symposium is an opportunity to showcase all research that has been undertaken by staff, students and registrars in the Division and it’s related research entities, including the Centre for Autism Research in Africa (CARA), and the Adolescent Health Research Unit (AHRU). There were 15 presenters at the mini-symposium covering a wide range of mental health topics, as well as a panel discussion exploring the impact of COVID-19 on specific research projects. All presenters are commended for the quantity and quality of socially responsive research that has been undertaken in 2020 despite the COVID pandemic and all it’s associated challenges. Thank you to all the presenters and those behind the scenes for your contributions.
