Micaela Rozenberg is the president and founder of the Portuguese TSC Association (AETN) and serves as co-chair of the European TSC Association (E-TSC). She is also actively involved in the international TSC community and is a passionate advocate dedicated to improving care for TSC patients and their families worldwide. Her mission focuses on empowering both the patient community and healthcare professionals to foster better understanding, support, and treatment.

Throughout her career, Micaela has played a key role in establishing national, European, and global networks that connect key opinion leaders and local healthcare providers. She is leading the E-TSC DEA (Disseminating Expertise and Achievement) project, which aims to enhance medical and patient-level collaboration across Europe.

Micaela is a proud mother of two daughters, her youngest has TSC. Her personal journey inspired her to found AETN when her daughter was 16, recognising the profound need for families and patients to be involved and supported through associations. She is a fierce advocate committed to ensuring that no family is left behind.

Her guiding belief: Nothing about us without us! Her conviction in the power of collective voice continues to drive her advocacy efforts.
