Lucas Gutiérrez Lafrentz is an adult psychiatrist and psychotherapist from Chile with extensive experience in clinical mental health care. He has worked in both hospital and community-based settings, providing care for individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His expertise includes neuropsychiatric disorders, clinical ethics, and the management of complex mental health challenges.

As a PhD researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the University of Antwerp, he is part of the TANDem-2 research team, focusing on the ethical challenges in the treatment and care of individuals with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and its neuropsychiatric manifestations (TAND).
